"Grains" is the journey of a son who tries a dutiful and impossible return to his mother between lands and stones of memory. What has been silenced or said with no exact words must be renamed, each one traced back to its true meaning. Thus the narrative voice of the child melts into the story, looks for that of the mother "figure in backlight", reconstructs the sounds. To sew is another voice - in italics in the texts - as a third person, eye observing and narrating images that surface. Almost witnessed the screening of short, old pieces of film. And in those fragments emerges the time in which two existences, two worlds, have touched "in the search orbit, the axis rotates at night. a subtle eclipse matches them "before life presses to drag them away.
