It is a choral story, in which the protagonists and supporting cast are well tracked (or should I say paintings?) And the word in their mouths coincides with the personality. Not a novel in the feminine, but rather a mix of men and women, with nothing out of the ordinary if not their uniqueness of human beings, that Iannello returns with an admirable amount of truth. The fact that the author has been inspired by personal events does not explain by itself the excellent results, but it may have been the key to this important progress.
The point of view, almost always marked by the third person, it becomes occasionally in the ego of Andrew, the brother of Lucia, who embodies a fundamental positive for the progress of the novel. The destinies of the characters, who often do not have opportunity to know each other, can be seen by the eye of the reader to a preferred distance, so you guess the plot. One thing that is not granted to them, while the fate unites lives like threads of a tapestry and shapes the future in ways often unexpected.
The story unfolds between Vigevano, Abbiategrasso, Milan and Pavia, actually that locals will recognize with pleasure in "divergent Conjunctions atmospheres".
An engaging read that intrigues on the future development of Giuse Iannello.
