After receiving a prestigious "Special Mention" in 2016 (among the three authors of the section "Poetry and Fiction") in the '100 Excellencies Italian National Award', it comes out in bookstores the fifteenth collection of poems by Menotti Lerro. The text is titled Decanto - Giuliano Ladolfi Publisher, with introductory notes of Davide Rondoni and Carlo Franza - and once again Lerro displaces the reader by presenting the poems avowedly 'In Vino Veritas': poems written in the evenings when he wanted to rejoice, or intoxicated with the precious juice of the earth (and the irony is the primary component in these verses). Texts, therefore, completely different than all his more sober and very rational (though always full of pathos) previous production. Attanaglierà much curiosity in the reader to want to discover the poetry and thoughts that cross the mind of this brilliant author when alcohol wins its most simple or profound resistance, or when the joys, the sorrows, all the memories, are de-sung by time and from memory.
