While Orhan is on the track of the attackers, three young Italians arrive in Istanbul to carry a life-saving rescue operation on which Ankara wants to see clear: an unknown number of Chaldeans is running out of Mossul and Baghdad to enter Turkey. Orhan's destiny, the three Italians and Chaldeans, first touch Diyarbakir and then cross the Turkish-Iraqi border between the towns of Hakkari and Uludere. With a surprising result.
A first presentation of the novel will be made with the author and writer Paolo Ciampi on Thursday 14 July at 9 pm in the Marabuk Library, in Florence, via Maragliano 29.
'' 'Michele Brancale' '' (1966) lives and works in Florence. She writes collections of poems '' The Fountain of Steel '' (2007, Polistampa), 'Metropolitan Psalms' (2009, Editions of the Lion, A. Tabucchi Prefecture), '' The Pearl of Lolek '' 2011, Giuliano Ladolfi Editor) and "At a gentle breeze" (2012, Plaquettes for Lucaniart), "Rosa dei Tempi" for Passigli, finalist at the Camaiore literary prize. He wrote the tales "Soave and Aged" (2007, Polistampa) and "The Bracelet of Toledo" (2012, Giuliano Ladolfi Publisher), with the illustrations by Paolo Penko, and participated in the anthologies "Under the Lens" (2008, Perrone Lab), '' The Panettone '' (Romano, 2012), '' Decameron 2013 '' (Felici Editore).
