The author, who teaches Natural Philosophy at the Pontifical Urban University, where he is also vice-rector, examines in this book forms of atheism typical of the so-called post-modernity, that is of our time. In fact, noted in the Introduction, it does not seem characterized primarily by atheism, since the realtivismo, nihilism the liquid society, seem to generate more easily idolatry, the paganism, syncretism, as well as different forms of religiosity without each stroke rational.
