The right side of the wardrobe is not a book that wants to please. It has a curvy style, but never condescending. It is a resurrection of Apollinaire, of the taste of overdoing, of not giving ready meals. The syntax, left over the enjambement, offers us its fast gallop, careless of easy pleasure, deliberately hasty.
All that is new apparently leaves us skeptical. It would be different if this style had belonged to one of the "consecrated" instead. We would dwell with calm, attention, curiosity without haste. And this is what needs to be done for this work (Fausto Paolo Filograna).
