Poetry can be the means of interpreting the gift of 'calculation', or science, in the time of myth and contemporary civilisation, at the moment when science becomes 'hope' and at the current moment when it plunges into anguish and marks the risk of the whole of humanity losing itself, of thwarting the love manifested at its origins by Prometheus.
