Through a childhood memory, the reader is immediately introduced, and involved, in the author's child universe, or rather, in what has been his sentimental training path, hence the necessarily ambivalent title of "sacred heart" .
The reference should be attributed to the original religious tension that permeates the world of childhood, with its prescriptions and its prohibitions, but also to the idealized figure of Christ, the first projective referent of childhood erotic instincts, but also disturbing memento, because of his vibrant heart in ostension (from the preface by Giovanna Rosadini).
