The synthesis proposed in this paper does not accurately study performed in more than twenty years of work on the pages of the quarterly "Atelier", whose value consisted in turning the lump of criticism immersed in the shallows of Structuralism. Difficult, however, it is to rebuild the unified design of a conception of poetry to those who have not followed the entire route; moreover, the same work in the magazine was completed with key external texts, in which they had laid the conceptual and methodological bases.
The publication, therefore, is the need to gather and disseminate a framework studies on twentieth century poetry of the director Giuliano Ladolfi, to resume a debate never faded, to provide the opportunity for new readers to express their opinion consciously, to enter the classrooms high school and university, not a secondary purpose (it would be enough to add a small anthology of texts to provide students with a complete and new poetry of the twentieth century) and to renew in young people's enthusiasm for art, in which our race by thousands of years has demonstrated excellence.
