Giuseppe Carlo Airaghi was born and lives in the province of Milan. He has published poetry collections: I quaderni dell'aspettativa (Italicpequod), Quello che ancora restava da dire (Fara Editore) and the novel I sorrisi fraintintesi dei ballerini (Fara Editore). His essays are featured in the pages of numerous literary magazines. Employed by a multinational company, he has been a surveyor, a holiday village entertainer, a steel products salesman and a rock and blues singer. He dreamed of a career as a dancer, but his complete lack of coordination proved to be an insurmountable obstacle. He has a patient wife, two children recently emerged from adolescence unscathed. On his bedside table he stubbornly piles up books that he tries to read at the same time without ever managing to finish one.
