Alaimo Franca

Franca Alaimo was born in 1947. She lives in Palermo.

He made his debut as a poet in 1989 with Impossible Moon, followed by another seventeen sillories (most of them awarded or finalists), four e-books, edited with La Recherche, and a publication with PulcinoElefante. He has written five essays on contemporary authors: D. Cara, T. Romano, L. Luisi, F. Loi, G. Rescigno.

It is present in numerous Stories of Italian Literature, and in Insular. Novel of Sicilian literature by Stefano Lanuzza; in prestigious anthologies (Newton Compton, Aragno, LietoColle, Laboratorio delle Arti etc ...) and in magazines such as Poesia (where it was presented by M. Bettarini and M. G. Calandrone), Anterem, Italian Poetry Review, Bomba carta and many others.

He translated from English two short sillories of the Irish poet Peter Russell.

He wrote hundreds of reviews on the works of contemporary poets.
