Cravero Adelchi

Adelchi Cravero was born in Piscina (To) February 6, 1902.
Graduated to 23 years at the University of Turin, San Giovanni Hospital inside, he deepened his knowledge in particular in emergency medicine, orthopedics and gynecology.
As Doctor led he practiced first in the Municipality of Azeglio, then in the town of Orta S Giulio and soon after in the conduct of Armeno / Miasino, where he remained 25 years.
At that period are his publications in the journal «Minerva Medica» in reference to the treatment and cure of many cases of tetanus, frequent in the area.
With the help of the municipal administration of Armeno prepared a small ward, then called Ospedale, in the Pasquarolo town district, where a small surgery was practiced by the intervention of external colleagues.
During the war he was imprisoned in the prisons of Novara from July to December 1944. In 1953 he won the conduct of Gozzano where he moved with his family and continued his activities even after retirement up to eight days before his death on 16 November 1980.
