Galli Arianna
Arianna Galli (Brescia, 2002), poet, writer and literary critic, has been trying her hand at writing verse since primary school. After moving to Milan, during middle and high school she won various literary fiction prizes, including the First Prize in the "Giorgio Ambrosoli" national civil virtue day competition in 2015, the Second Prize in the "San Carlo" College competition in 2015, the "Honourable Mention at the Ostia National Literary Competition" in 2016, the "Critics' Prize" at the "San Carlo College" competition in 2018; is a finalist in the national literary competition "One Thousand and One Stories" in 2020 and deserves an Honourable Mention in the international literary competition "Between a flower picked and a flower given: love poems", chaired by Franco Arminio in 2020.
In 2017 she created her personal poetry page "cercasiinfinito", where she publishes her poems, obtaining an excellent following and since 2020 she has collaborated with the cultural magazine "Studi Cattolici" with articles of literary criticism, under the guidance of the poet Alessandro Rivali.
After graduating with honours from the Liceo Internazionale per l'Intercultura Indirizzo Classico at the Collegio San Carlo in Milan, she enrolled in the course of Foreign Literature, Communication, Media and Digital Cultures at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
In August 2021, one of his poems was chosen to open the international music festival "Lej Festival".
On 13 December 2021, Maurizio Cucchi chose and commented on two of his poems dedicated to the city of Milan in an article for La Repubblica. On 31 December, three of his poems were chosen and commented on by critic Alfonso Maria Petrosino for the online magazine "Poesia del Nostro Tempo".
