Andrea Giampietro was born in Popoli (PE) on December 3, 1985. Raised in Pratola Peligna, he currently lives in Sulmona (AQ).
As a verse author he published Il paradiso è in fondo (Rome, Lepisma, 2010), with a preface by Dante Maffia, Di notte a luna off (Piombino, Ass. Cul. "Il Foglio", 2012), presented by Maria Luisa Spaziani , and Cronache dall'imbuto (Lanciano, Carabba, 2017), with a dedication by Ottaviano Giannangeli.
As a translator he rendered the works of Oscar Wilde (The ballad of the prison of Reading, Rome, Ed. Croce, 2012), Elizabeth Gaskell (Bran and other poems, Ediz. In 2016 he began his collaboration with the Abruzzese poet Ottaviano Giannangeli, who assists in the revision of his omnia work, When I lived on earth (Castelli, Verdone, 2017). In 2019 he curates the free volume A token of memory. 23 voices for Ottaviano Giannangeli (Ortona, Ediz. Menabò). The following year, always with his curatorship, the Giannangelian novel You Remember (Raiano, Ed. Amaltea) was born.
