Maiorana Salvatore

Salvatore Maiorana former professor at the University of Florence and Inspector of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, is a scholar of linguistics, neuroscience and contemporary English theatre. His best-known works are: An American Dream, Palermo, Sintesi, 1980; Lo spazio Diviso, Teoria e pratica del Teatro Inglese Contemporaneo, Venice, Marsilio, 1984; Neuroscienze e Didattica delle lingue. He has been awarded in numerous national and international literary prizes, including: City of Verbania 'B. Contardo Ferrini' Literary Prize; Florence Il Fiorino d'Oro Prize; G. Leopardi and Quasimodo Prize, Rome International Academy of Modern Art; Antonio Filoteo Amodei International Prize, Il Convivio International Academy; Michelangelo Buonarroti International Prize; Lord Byron Porto Venere Golfo dei Poeti Prize; Golden Books Literary Award; Hyde Book Awards; Universum Academy Switzerland Literary Prize; Europa in Versi Literary Prize; Tulliola-Filippelli World Prize; Histonium Prize; Voci Città di Roma Award; Golden Aster Books World Literary Prize; Literary Prize for Published Fiction; Italian Cultural Institute of Naples. He has collaborated with the weekly 'Sette' of the 'Corriere della Sera', with Rai Uno and RaiTre.  He is featured in Letteratura 2.0.
