Pietro Federico is a writer and professional translator. Born and raised in the city of Bologna, he graduated from high school Classico "Marco Minghetti" in Bologna and graduated in Classics at the Faculty of Humanities of the same city with a degree in comparative literature (written in part at the University of Oxford) entitled Distance and Vision: The image in the poetry of T. S. Eliot and that of Giuseppe Ungaretti.

After graduation he began, with the publisher Raffaelli di Rimini, a series of literary translation called Dromos which counts among its volumes titles like Anabase of Saint-John Perse, Macias Mariano Jose de Larra and At the back of the North Wind of Gerge MacDonald. At the same time he worked as a teacher in Greek, Latin and Italian at a grammar school in Rimini and has started a literary translator (which still continues) for publishing houses such as Sao Paulo, Lindau, Rubbettino. In order to broaden his horizons in the field of writing has also earned a master of film and television Screenplay at the Catholic University of Milan and was later hired as a story editor for a year in the house of Film and Television Production Lux Vide, a Rome.

He currently lives in the United States and his work, never abandoned, translator and writer accompanies activity literary agency in order to build a bridge of cultural exchange between the U.S. and Italy.
