Nicola Marra was born in Moliterno, in Basilicata. Graduated in Architecture in Naples, he has been living and working in Florence for a long time, where he was Professor of Design and Construction at ITCG and contract professor of Materials Technology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Florence.

He has always cultivated a passion for poetry and literature and has participated in numerous literary poetry awards, with various awards. His poems have recently appeared in "Gradiva", an international poetry magazine, Leo S. Olschki publisher, Florence. For the types of Di Buono editions, in 2015 he published the collection of poems "The soul and time".
