Domenico (Nico) Priano, Ligurian by birth, born in 1966, currently lives in Ovada, in the Alto Monferrato.
He graduated in Philosophy with a theoretical orientation with a thesis on the Milanese poet-philosopher Clemente Rebora.
He has written several novels, especially noir: Come latte sul fuoco (2017), The second hand (2018), The song of the marshal (2018), The adventure of Gero and Muffa (2018).
Some of his stories have been published in collections of various authors.
The poem came later.

Ovada Marittima is the literary place where Monferrato and Liguria meet, in a shore that is made of words, sometimes in rhyme.
For Priano the poems are daily, sleepy and discreet travel companions, from Lower Piedmont to Sestri Ponente where the poet works in a multinational in the Metalworking sector.
