Liliana Zinetti, Bergamo born in '54, has already published several collections, but Cypresses Van Gogh (Giuliano Ladolfi Editore pp.70, € 10), writes Alberto Bertoni, is his best and most mature work, in which creates "a complete synthesis of linguistic diversity, competent historical memory, figural effectiveness, successful rhythmic-prosodic balance." It affects the economic composure and incisive in his poems, which proceed according to the idea of a lyrical meditation with a gait of classical restraint.
