The author traces, in this essay, what is most important to man: the heart of man. The person cannot live without love. His experience is often situated between the eros, a form of love described by Plato in the Symposium, and the agápe, the pure and free love that is not motivated by a need. We yearn for the beauty of love, we wish to be loved and considered. But only the gift of self makes us happy. The more fruitful we are around us, the more we generate life, the more life smiles on us giving us meaning and meaning. Only true love, because love is often counterfeit, places us in front of our limits and our contemporary grandeur.
