The ambitious young pianist Leon was born and raised in the binding world of a wealthy aristocratic family at the gates of London from whose chains he dreamed of being free from an early age.

Thanks to the unexpected encounter with the famous Greek composer Leandros, who decides to accept him as his disciple, piano music acquires a new dimension and becomes the common thread and constant support of his life. Leandros' teachings go beyond his notes and end up forging and shaping the soul of his pupil, becoming for him a spiritual guide, a teacher of life.

As soon as he is of age, a plot twist suddenly puts an end to his privileged life and catapults him first to Lebanon, his mother's country, and then to Syria, a land of losses and horrors, where the war will upset the world of his affections and force him to flee again seeking shelter first in Greece and then in Germany. The numerous painful changes of course that the young man will be forced to accept will lead him to new interpretations in search of solutions that can end the perpetuation of violence and blackmail.

Music is one of the three protagonists of the story, continuously interacting with the two musicians who allow themselves to be surrendered by the spontaneous passage of their muse and by the fruits that it brings.

The reader crosses with Leon the ups and downs of his life, his obstructive angularities, his passions, defeats and hopes up to the understanding that only forgiveness can be a single true way out of all the pain that history only sows.
