The collection of Luca Melzi, accompanied by pictorial tables of the author himself, presents a vision of existence situated in an indefinable and indefinite space between extreme situations, in a kind of "no man's land", where they attract and separate, where they merge and separate, where the contrasts between light and darkness, between reality and dream, between limit and infinity, between life and death, between nature and spirit, between joy and pain, between solitude and love, between dissatisfaction and melancholy ... Certain causes neither existential nor phenomenal are indicated, only a spasmodic desire for the self-realization of romantic ancestry is felt, which clashes against the reality of the human condition and which reveals itself in a bewilderment present in the artist when he contemplates the difference between his own intention and one's inner world with necessarily inferior artistic realization.
