I believe that these statements are perfectly suited to writing verses by Giorgio Anelli in which finding oneself, getting lost and finding oneself sway between realizing the everyday life in which he lives, the temporary nature of certain agreements, the ease with which a love can be lost, an ideal, an image, when existential contingencies bite your calves and you find yourself wandering, in a world that no longer fits with your desire and your ambition to sublime: «And yet, most of all / I am looking for a vision / / Intimate friend, eternal enchanting temptation ... »(from the preface by Gian Ruggero Manzoni).
