In all of Maria Allo's poetry, and particularly in this latest collection "Radure", there is an adherence to the places she has lived in that does not translate into simple descriptiveness, but rather into an involvement so intimate as to determine a continuity of atmosphere, which not only vibrates and radiates in the texts with images and colours that are perfectly identifiable geographically, but also deeply imbues the lexical fabric, which becomes pregnant with it while it brings to light perceptions and reflections that have been pondered over for a long time, as their recurring presence reveals, albeit between infinite modulations (from Franca Alaimo's preface).
