Each of Alberti Pasina's publications always holds a surprise in store, even within a style that is now recognisable: descriptive flashes, a certain tendency towards expressionism, dreamlike atmospheres in which reality maintains and simultaneously loses its contours.
And yet in this collection we note an evolution in the desire for a real escape from the monotony of existence in search of an integrity, which should not be confused with a "naturist" fashion, but should be interpreted as the perennial human dream of authenticity ("the desire to be elsewhere and whole, / beyond the effects consumed in bluish days"). If we then consider that this horizon is delineated as the need for a profound sentimental bond, then the poetry is nourished by strong demands of reality (from Giulio Greco's preface).
