The volume collects a series of critical studies on the work of Pier Luigi Bacchini. The first section publishes the proceedings of the conference "Pier Luigi Bacchini, Quel problema del cielo", held in Parma in the rooms of the Palazzo del Governatore on 18 October 2018, edited by Luca Ariano, with papers by Luca Ariano, Alberto Bertoni, Paolo Briganti, Marzio Dall'Acqua, Giuliano Ladolfi, Daniela Marcheschi, Giuseppe Marchetti, Giovanni Ronchini. The following section, on the other hand, brings together the critical contributions of other scholars of Bacchini's work - Amedeo Anelli, Camillo Bacchini, Salvatore Ritrovato -, which in this volume is thus analysed and coherently arranged within the framework of Italian and European poetry.
