The title of the book, “Eternal Returning”, constitutes first and foremost an element of understanding that brings us close to the Nietzsche’s concept of the eternal return, which we could interpret here as belonging to an Heidegger-inspired train of thought, where a human being becomes the Dionysian owner of all things. And just under this perspective, wonderful glimpses of the passage of time are coming to life, filtered through Flavia’s particular sensitivity.
