Reading Isabelle Poncet-Rimaud's texts can be compared to the experience of a walk on a sunny day. Wherever you turn, you find populated landscapes, voices, silences, shadows, but also vestiges of inner situations such as desires, hopes, fears, related to the dimension of the human being.
The author enters the "dark forest" of the contemporary world with the Pascolian gaze of seeing what others do not see and hearing what others do not hear. The result is little idylls that compete with the Greek tradition more than with Leopardi.
Isabelle Poncet-Rimaud, born in 1947, was born in Lyon where she studied literature. After living in various regions of France and Belgium, she settled in Haute-Garonne.
Since 1985, she has published sixteen titles in poetry, and has received prizes including that of the Society of Writers of Alsace and Lorraine in 1994.
She is a member of the French Pen Club, the Society of Writers of Alsace, the Académie Rhénane and the Académie Rhodanienne des lettres.
He has published in numerous French and foreign anthologies. His poems have been translated and published in Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Portugal, Spain, Iceland, Greece, India and the United States.
She attaches great importance to encounters with other voices or art forms and has collaborated with artists, painters, writers, musicians, such as the composer Damien Charron who sets to music some of her poems that have been sung in France and abroad.
