Roberto Cescon gives us a book of poetry merciless and merciful at the same time, showing the loss of the relationship of anthropological continuity in the everyday life of a place and a specific social environment. It is not the loss of past and future, in fact, to haunt the sequence of notes in the verses of Cescon, but their already destined to be always in a dimension of intangibility, exclusion from a real chance to be a living force of action (and thinking) everyday. The direction of things is therefore the loss of opacity of the self, the disappearance of the "secret" that everyone has at least once thought to carry through his own experience as a real source of meaning and revelation (from the Foreword by Gian Mario Villalta).
