Allo Maria

Maria Allo, graduated in Classical Literature, specialised in Islamistics, Sicilian teacher, poet and translator. She works on the evaluation and quality of school and training organisations.

Her latest collections of poetry: Al dio dei ritorni, Galassia Arte, 2014; Solchi; La parabola si compiie nei risvegliio, L'Arcolaio,2016; La terra che rimane, Edizioni Controluna, 2018 and Talenti di donna, Onirica edizioni, 2013, as editor.

She lives between Paris and Catania. She is the author of essays on the poetry of other authors. She is featured in many anthologies and magazines, has translated a poem L'ombra di Athos and texts from Canti di misconosciuta gloria by the Greek poet Sotirios Pastakas, in preparation by Edizioni Multimedia in Salerno.
