Colli Stefano

Stefano Colli was born in Grosseto on 11-10-1970. He graduated in philosophy at the University of Siena on 24-2-1998 with 110/110 cum laude with a thesis on the median phase of the Fichte Science Doctrine. He is a professor of philosophy and history at the scientific high school of Grosseto.

He wrote poetry from 2005 and at the moment, as well as some lyrics in various anthologies of as many poetry competitions, he obtained the following results: Special Jury Prize (4th place ex aequo) at the "Penna d'autore 2006" award in Turin (unpublished silloge section); prize reserved to the poets of the province of Grosseto for the "Dino Bavona" of Montepescali, ed. 2007 and 2014; third place at the "G. Pastures "2011, sez. unpublished silloge; 2nd place at the "Il Litorale" poetry prize 2013, sect. unpublished silloge; mention of merit for the "Lorenzo Montano" prize 2015, section unpublished silloge; finalist at the "Officina Ensemble" award 2016. And then, the very recent first prize in the "Il Litorale '" 2017 competition, in section unpublished silloge, which allowed the publication of La diaspora del senso with Edizioni Helicon. Once published, this text came second ex aequo to the "Patria letteratura" award.

His poems are on the sites www.aphorism.it, Iris News, Oblique Rain and Patria literature. Stefano Colli has published two novels: Emma's Summer, released in early March 2013 with the publisher Europa Edizioni; Something unusual, I Libri di Emil, Bologna 2014, which won the Special Jury Prize at the "San Domenichino" competition in Massa.
