Guarna Mario

Mario Guarna graduated in Philosophy in 2004 from the University of Florence. In the same year his unpublished work, Mirò is elsewhere, was awarded the Fiorino doro at the Florence International Prize. In 2006, his thesis Philosophy of the Far-Theory of Humor in Pirandello was awarded the first prize at the "Totus Tuus" National Prize. In January 2007 he founded the National Philosophical Practices Association, of which he became president, converted, in August 2014, into the Professional Philosophical Practices Association. In April 2006, he established and presided over the National Philosophy Award "The figures of Thought". In 2010 he obtained the certificate of the post graduate course in Philosophy for children / Philosophy for community at the University of Florence and the certificate of teacher Philosophy for children / Philosophy for community at the Research Center on Philosophical Investigation in Rome. Since 2010, he has organized and chaired the annual conference on "Philosophical practices". In October 2014 he was appointed scientific director of the "Sillabe di sale" publishing house, for the philosophy section. Since 2017 scientific director of the philosophy series in the David and Matthaus publishing house. Since 2018 President of the "Image" Association, where he organizes "Cinesofia", cinema and philosophy meetings. Since 2018 Editorial director of the online philosophical magazine «Phronein» (www.atelierpoesia.it).
