Meucci Bruno

Bruno Meucci was born in 1965 in Florence, where he studied philosophy, graduating with Francesco Adorno with a thesis on the meaning of the myths in the Dialogues of Plato. He continued his studies in Scienze della Cultura at the Scuola di Alti Studi of Modena with a great interest into the work of Hans Blumenberg and the debate on the myth in modern times. It is part of Comunità di San Leolino which deals with the relationship between Christianity and contemporary culture. He currently teaches Filosofia at the Istituto “Marsilio Ficino” of Figline Valdarno (Florence). He has written articles and essays for various magazines and publications. In 2011 he participated in the edition of “Filosofia”, a textbook for secondary schools, ensuring in particular the volume on Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, under the direction of Sergio Givone and Francesco Paolo Firrao, by Editore Bulgarini of Florence.
