In the same years in which Heidegger, himself a disciple of Husserl, formulating judgments adverse to the metaphysical tradition unjustly accusing her of having forgotten the '' being 'to become a sort of "physical dell'inverificabile," Edith Stein, while remaining bound to the critical needs the teacher, she walked on a high way, free from the constraints of the sometimes pressing academic paths. Her rediscovery of the thought of Thomas was accomplished in the living heritage of the spirit. For this reason, her work is vigorous and mature in a clarity that will always be more effectively understood how much better you will see that the metaphysical tradition, in its most authentic authors, lives and stat as the indispensable gift of civilization.
