The work At the borders of the sun.Giuseppe Brancale, novelist in the history of Italy, is divided into six chapters: after the first, which contains biographical notes and some indications on the formation and thinking of the author, taken mainly from the numerous letters written by Brancale to his future wife, the othersfive are each dedicated to one of the writer's works.Giuseppe Brancale: "Italian writer of reconstruction";"Writer of the rebirth of the South after World War II".Scrolling through the pages of the book is outlined the figure of this unusual writer, who lived between 1925 and 1979, who unconditionally loves his Lucania. In his writings he denounces the evils that afflict the native region, as well as all the rest of Southern Italy. He lost his life only fifty-four years, when his work has not yet established itself in the national literary scene.
