Renzo Brunetti is a professor of Italian at a high school in Milan.

His legacy has spent the much pain to the point of doing it close itself to defend against the ghosts of the past, relegating him to a solitary existence. The only exception is his faithful dog, a boxer named Rocky.

With the beginning of the school year the world is invaded by Renzo problems of his new class and a colleague who teaches English, Daniela.

Through a series of events that affect the youth problems of its students and the complexity of human relationships, Renzo's life will change in a radical way, returning to the feelings and the joy of living.
