The Devil's Tower is one of the towers in the medieval town of San Gimignano, but one night in 2008, it becomes the scene of a heinous crime. The commissioner, the man called to investigate the crime, because of his fragile soul and a past stingy with affection and satisfaction, will find himself involved and, in some ways, overwhelmed by his own investigations. He will be forced to balance between his low self-esteem and the challenges imposed on him by the murderous madness of someone or 'something'. Reality will present itself to his eyes as a system in which past, present and future become one and every certainty will know the tremor and ache of doubt or denial.
