Giovanni D’Avenia has a well-deserved job for the rich. Dependent on his own routine, he hates the uselessness of art and creativity, almost all words that end in a consonant such as iris, and noise - it is the vocal and vulgar manifestation of the abstract concept of chaos.

Giovanni has a problem, it is called alienation from imagination, or at least once a month he believes that what manifests itself in his mind is reality, when instead it is only in his mind.

He is in an old warehouse where his dream / nightmare begins. Ever since Mr. Woodcutter shows him a glass ball, like those of Christmas, Giovanni is so disturbed and fascinated at the same time, that he first breaks his routine, then steals the ball, which is magical: it grants powers to those who have already the gift of imagination.

From here begins a journey, imaginary (or not?) In search of happiness.
