Angela Greco chooses to entitle her new collection of poems, with a clear mythological reference to the classical tradition, Ananke, that is to say the force of destiny, the inevitability of fate which man must necessarily obey or submit to. [...] we are faced with "a thought-poem, of an existential and, at times, argumentative kind, which takes the reader by the hand into an intricate world of unanswered questions, unresolved doubts, delays: the exact opposite of a visionary and unconscious poem, then, but "a poem [...] of existential factuality, of the dilemma between living and being" (from Fabrizio Bregoli's preface).
