By overturning the relationships between body and space, interiority and matter, void and form, French Surrealism sought to redesign the cognitive and existential ontology of the subject. This booklet explores one of the consequences of that restlessness: the confluence of the ego's energies in a non-codified handwriting, the opening up of the body through a writing made of "living" signs. The body transforms itself, expressing an evolutionary demand: it renounces its own representation and therefore lets its potential flow out along lines that capture and spread meaning in space, thus creating a fertile intersection of art and writing.
