The history of a militant journal is made not only on the contents, but above all by rereading the editorials, that is, the 'place' where the aesthetic and practical thought of the group headed by the editors is nested, which open horizons of work for those who wish to participate in the cultural project (Giuseppe Langella).
This work, at the beginning of the twenty-seventh year of activity of the journal "Atelier", aims to remedy the fragmentary nature of the interventions, typical of a militant literary journal that finds in current events the drive and energy of reflection and writing, and to outline in an organic manner the principles that have guided the work of study and direction during this period.
It is not intended to take stock or even trace the lines of the entire activity. The purpose is to be sought in the need for systematicity and organicity of thought, matured on a series of epistemological and critical choices, already clear and distinct from the first issue.
