The whole book, consisting mostly of short poems, short breath, cut epigrammatic, it is built around the close dialogue that the poet argues with other poets from different periods and covering, among others, issues relating to its identity as Peruvian and jew.
All themes of universal breath that induce the poet to reflect on the human condition, knowing that it is always the voice of the poem to have the last word. Goldemberg And it does so through the tip of a corroding polished and refined irony, that the intonation is more than phrasing, pushed sometimes to the burning of a compelling poignancy.
Language is always relaxed and fluid, with a tendency to shy away from any emphasis, by forcing every declamatory, to deliver images and feelings and thoughts in an intonation that tends to discursive (Emilio Coco).
