Sonia Elvireanu is a poet, novelist, literary critic, essayist, translator, member of the Writers' Union of Romania. She holds a doctorate in Philology, is a professor; a member of the Center for Research on the Imaginary and the Center for Philological Research for Multicultural Dialogue of the University "December 1, 1918," Alba Iulia; a member of the International Federation of French Teachers (FIPF), vice-president and cultural coordinator of the Franco-Romanian Association AMI.
With the Giuliano Ladolfi publishing house, she published the poetry collections Le chant de la mer à l'ombre du héron cendré - The song of the sea in the shadow of the grey heron (2021) and Ensoleillements au cœur du silence - Sparkles in the heart of silence (2022).
