The beauty of contemporary poetry - and, in particular, of the young - is in the clearness of the eye: the images we are delivered, while referring to an elsewhere, are distinguished by their extraordinary concreteness. This is the advantage of Luca Pizzolitto and his collection "A desperate tenderness," edited by Giuliano Ladolfi Publisher.
Apparently a compilation of disenchantment, his, who claims herself by denial: unspoken words, choices not made, kisses detained. The identity is this exhausting tension between "the desire to travel" and "the expectation of return" and finally empties into a torpor that makes white properties. Yet the writing of Luke Pizzolitto never expires in the lament, so it's almost a dance on the brink of solitude while his voice takes a step toward the abyss, is put already rescued by a kind gesture, a gift of caresses, amazement in front of a spring unexpected.
It can therefore be said to be really fragile who understands that losing is an act of courage? The dizziness of mind are then only passing seasons: in the eyes of a child is discovered forgiveness, in poetry you learn the slowness. Know it's a pain, yes, but his hands trembling ask tenderness already sing the hope to blossom again. The thread that binds these poems is an unspoken burden of desire, an ancient prayer that awaits tomorrow in memory of distances not yet inhabited.
Il vento gelido del nord
Il vento gelido del nord
traccia l’intesa di strade antiche
ormai lontane da qui.
L’umano incedere nel nulla,
una ginestra sopravvive alle intemperie,
ogni sorta d’avversità sconfigge
nell’anelito di vita che esplode.
Ma la condanna d’esistere
è questa immane solitudine.
