Through thirteen short poems from Catania Judge invites us to reflect on the sense of disorientation, estrangement that always catches one who asks questions sull'esistere, subtracting all superfluous elements to the stripping absolute is what's left that counts! And it could also be indirect un'interrogativa which could meet the four verses of Valerio Magrelli places in ex ("This is to say what / left side of the page / and knocks and can not enter, / and should not"), strokes from a poem Ora serrata retina that was already a poetic declaration in that dazzling attack ("Ten poems written in a month / not very well if this / would be the eleventh. / Not even the themes are different and / or rather c ' is one theme / subject and has for the topic, as now "), and which is now being adopted in toto by Judge (if it is permissible for me to give this to an epigraph).
That way everything seems obvious, trivial and above all know of already written and rewritten. But what is writing if not reflection and meditation on a thought formed first and that you try to stop the card, fully aware of the failure ("The paper that I could not write was used / to pin vegetables and phone numbers ')?
And then explore ways and means to curb the risk, curbing matter: space and time. Only minimum resort to word without running the danger of imitating the lesson of Ungaretti (light years away), but rather distilling the brightest of Luzi, bare-bones.
