ImperfettaEllisseEnrico Barbieri I wrote something (that. HERE), on the occasion of his book "The trembling of the earth", published by CFR in 2014. On that occasion I expressed some concerns, which dealt largely with a discontinuity, and perhaps shyness or reluctance in saying, that led to a trend rhapsodic book.
I'll be back on the scene of the "crime" with this second or perhaps third book because I am convinced that, unlike many, Barbers in poetry we believe, is not an attitude and not a mere necessity (what ever ambiguous concept). From the first impression it seems that some "gaps" have been filled, a sign that Henry has done some thinking, and a minimum was questioned. Voids that were not as "horizontal", that is determined by a loose inspiration from the opportunities, rather than "vertical", or due to an excavation (as we used to say) still a lot to do on that same inspiration. There was in fact, in my opinion, the need to go deeper, not only in the material to be treated, but also in the writing itself.

logoStampPrato - Is the new book of Matilde Calamai "From Mombasa to New York," a trip to the world through poetry.

The lyrical and descriptive I bind a node inseparable to the point that the first African landscape, then Florence and then in New York does not present itself as a mirror of the soul, but the soul itself, because Calamai lives right that reality. And the lack of continuity solution constitutes the most eloquent revelation.

CompituReLogoFirst work. 14 texts. Asciuttissimi. Toward a central "That pain is not a bargaining chip / there never occurred."
Then subtraction, description of what is left, to the advancing desert. That, yet, "repairing the folds of our steps."
But, of course, also a poetic declaration to epigraph, taken from Valerio Magrelli: "This is to say what / left side of the page / and knocks and can not enter, / and should not"; which in itself contains a danger, excessive censorship of the open, the boundless, if you can not appoint, it is coded and anesthetized.
But also the fact, "The paper has not been able to write."

laprealpina logo headerThe art and friendship as solutions to make sense of life eager to an encounter that cross the distance, which is not only virtual, but real relationship, go to the pages of a writer Gallarate, Giorgio Rings, among guests yesterday to Duemilalibri with "the cedar of Lebanon." Presented by publishers Ladolfi Giuliano and Giulio Greek, rings presented the strongest themes that characterize the stories of his work: art as a way to meet, the relationship between the disease and life, the courage to ask for help in order to meet and form the hand.
