If the lines of the previous collection "Seaside" Gianfranco Barcella had inspired watching the sea from the shore, for this new book of poetry"Quaderno di bordo" (Giuliano Ladolfi Editore, 2014) did not hesitate to be led by an imaginary ship through the waves, mirroring his soul, so to entrust to the poetic word calms and storms marine, who saw reflected in his soul.

Someone said: often know more about the history through literature. And it's true. The observation came to us spontaneously reading a fiction book by a journalist now in years, of that generation that is that, born and brought up the typewriter came up to the computer, and that the printers down to lay out columns of lead and clichet then move (gradually, of course!) to the pagination performed on the video.

We say Alberto Ottaviano from Brescia, a life to the local newspaper, that with this "Stories of a lost home" (Giuliano Ladolfi Publisher; € 14.00), takes us along the percorsom of a life, a family, and then to a city, an environment, from the early fifties of the twentieth century to today. And if there was talk of history, it is precisely by virtue of a narrative which also covers the city, with various aspects: social, cultural, religious.

RaiNewsBlogFrom the preface by Giuliano Ladolfi

“The collection of Annalisa Ciampalini can touch the strings of the human heart in such a way that the reader can read in his verses himself, because the pain of rejection is sentimental heritage of each person. Not diary, then, but introspective research aimed at the reconstruction of a story destined to mark deeply the poet. We find in the nakedness of a style composed and vibrant experience, stretched between the desire for absolute realization and the limit of happening, between the moments of happiness, and the aftermath of periods devoted to the breakup between the vitality of hope and disappointment lethal.

by Claudio Toscani

At the turn of the forties and fifties, Alberto Ottaviano, publicist and journalist, lived as a child a bustling street of the old city center of Brescia. "Only that my first house had two windows that opened directly onto the street." From the window of memory, if not the heart, the soul mature author reviews his life, his story, if not his destiny.

How many writers have taken the momentum, to unravel the tangle of their existence, a house, a city; a family, a relative, a friend? Ottaviano starts from a rented apartment at number 52 in the course of the capital orobico Mameli, four flights of stairs to the skylight, a large kitchen, a theater room of games, the bedroom of the parents, his and his siblings.
