The poetry of Franco Loi (1930) knows the breath of obedience. The echo of the dialect in its press page has a voice that induces fatal to wonder, like a distant wind that touches the wonder and pain of a blessed reminder.
The indefinite of his views grows as the naturalness of a lost breath or the curse of a loose or broken glass, such as a remote greeting.
It could be attributed to its extreme Book Lader de Diu (When God sings), what he writes Nicholas Cabasilas: "Knowing from experience [...] means to achieve the same thing: here hence the form is imprinted in the soul and awakens the desire as a vestige proportionate to its beauty. "
It is the sign of a beginning and a path, marked by a desire not ego, but open to the music of the world and at the touch of a helpless abandonment.
Now available the book of short stories "The darkness of the angels," short treatise on moral philosophy
Next Monday, June 17, at 18.15, at the Feltrinelli bookshop in Piazza Ducale, will be the presentation of the new book titled White Garavelli L'oscurità-of-angels. We took the opportunity to ask some anticipation to the author. Where did the idea of a book of short stories, after a successful novel as "The Triplets of Dante lost"?
I've always written stories, even while writing texts: long, like novels. I like to think that it has entered into a great literary tradition, with teachers who I love very much and I started to read many years ago: first Edgar A. Poe, with his "Tales of Mystery," which I discovered during adolescence, and is one of the most important examples of writers of short stories in American literature. Then the Italian Dino Suzzati, a great creator of atmosphere disturbing. Another example is Italo Calvino. who wrote short stories also within frames reassessing the value of the unit-burning synthesis, where whole lives are concentrated in a few pages-. So this book is a break between a novel and the other?

Small unusual novel is “Volo non autorizzato” (Giuliano Ladolfi Editore, 94 pages, 10 euros). Written with light touch and refined by Patrizia Rinaldi, it tells the story here, original and adventurous turtle Achilla, unexpectedly escaped from their cages and carambolesca of a condominium terrace, saved by a miracle, accepted in a circus and kissed by fortune a meeting with Ravi, a child who grew up among the tigers. Book to read with their children. From 12 year olders. For everyone.
